Easy Waffles

Love a good waffle. This recipe is basically no-fail, so whatever your waffle iron situation, they'll turn out crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They're pretty good on their own. Top them with fresh raspberries and brown sugar syrup, and they sure are delicious.


Easy Waffles
makes about 6 waffles (1/2 cup batter, each)

1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup milk
2 teaspoons vinegar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 Tablespoons butter, melted
1 egg, beaten

Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda, and cinnamon. Add milk, vinegar, vanilla, and butter. Stir in beaten egg. Cook on a greased waffle iron.
